The short version: QuitCoach AI stores all your personal data locally on your device. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal information. The only data that leaves your device is the content of your AI coaching sessions, which is processed by Anthropic to generate responses and is not stored or used to train AI models.

3. How AI coaching data is handled

Coaching sessions are processed via Anthropic (the maker of Claude AI) through our secure Cloudflare Worker proxy. Anthropic's API processes your messages to generate coaching responses. Per Anthropic's API terms, data submitted via the API is not used to train AI models.

We do not log, store, or retain the content of your coaching sessions on our servers. Session messages exist only in transit and are not saved anywhere outside your device.

QuitCoach AI is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has used the app, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

6. Data retention and deletion

Because all personal data is stored locally on your device, you can delete all data at any time by uninstalling the app. Uninstalling QuitCoach AI removes all locally stored data permanently.

7. Security

All data transmitted between the app and our servers uses HTTPS encryption. Local data is stored in an SQLite database on your device, protected by your device's built-in security.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
